The Office of Institutional Research is a department in JCC's Planning and Development Division; Larry Sorokes, Dean.

Mission

The mission of the Office of Insititutional Research is to actively contribute to the creation of Jamestown Community College as a community-centered institution dedicated to teaching and learning. We seek to dynamically and efficiently support decision making, accountability and planning.

OIR - providing information to and about our students, community, faculty and staff

We support the Association for Institutional Research (AIR) Code of Ethics.

 

Services

Our primary functions are:

  • developing, collecting, and communicating measures of institutional effectiveness
  • providing management information and policy analysis
  • supporting the college's planning process
  • collecting and reporting mandated information
